Welcome to CxGBS Solutions

It has been a while since our last newsletter, and I’m pleased to share some of our latest news and congratulate several clients for achieving certification through the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Green Building Rating System™. This third-party certification program is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.

  • New York-based Maharam, which offers a comprehensive collection of textiles, received LEED Silver Certification for its Atlanta Showroom.
  • The City of Atlanta Aircraft Rescue Fire Facility #33 at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport earned LEED certification for its 21,000-square foot facility near the airport’s fifth runway. It is the city’s first fire station to apply sustainable development principals using the LEED Rating System.
  • Day-Brite Capri Omega (DCO) has opened the world’s first LEED Certified Lighting Institute (LEED-CI), designed to educate visitors about the importance of good lighting and highlight the importance of energy conservation.

We’d like to thank all of you for choosing CxGBS to provide Sustainable Design Consulting, Holistic Commissioning™, LEED Certification, and Forensic Investigation services. We greatly appreciate the efforts of many who have referred new client opportunities to us. Please forward this newsletter to any of your business contacts who you believe could also benefit from our services.
