Project Overview:
CxGBS® was contracted by ASHRAE to perform Retro-Commissioning, measurement and verification (M&V), and monitoring based commissioning services for the Society’s headquarters located in Atlanta, Georgia.
CxGBS® provided commissioning services which included making recommendations to designers through the commissioning review process to maximize the LEED® Certification rating, energy and water efficiency.
Sustainable Design Features:
- 75 percent of building structure retained during renovation
- 50 percent reduction in overall annual water consumption
- 33 percent reduction in building energy usage
- Minimization of the building heat island effects
