Donald Zerrip
Senior Consultant
Mr. Zerrip has over 31 years of military and industrial experience in a variety of maintenance, engineering, and management positions. His engineering abilities are enhanced with years of electrical technician experience maintaining airborne electronics in optimum readiness.
Experience in heavy industry plant engineering along with training in power, automation, hydraulics, diagnostics, combustion systems, safety, and process control gave him the knowledge, skill, and management training necessary to take a lead roll in two major plant expansions, including the $250 million expansion of the Alcoa Bohai rolling facility in Qinhuangdao, China.
Mr. Zerrip holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering-Power & Controls from the University of Tennessee.
Mr. Zerrip gives a fresh perspective to design, construction, troubleshooting, and ownership of buildings and process systems (combustion, position, pressure, air handling, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, material handling, etc.). A significant emphasis in his industrial environment career has been equipment optimization to reduce cycle time and energy while improving quality through modeling processes, equipment studies, and implementation.
He has worked extensively in equipment troubleshooting and process control to very tight tolerances. His professional background includes responsibilities in operations, maintenance, construction management, safety, and training.
