Thomas M. Lawrence, Ph.D., P.E., LEED AP
Consultant and Principal
Thomas Lawrence joined CxGBS in 2004. He has a broad range of experience in mechanical engineering, engineering management and environmental science. He is an Engineering Teaching Fellow in the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department at the University of Georgia.
Lawrence holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Purdue University, an M.S. in engineering management from Washington University, an M.S. in mechanical engineering from Oregon State University and a B.S. in environmental science from Purdue University.
He has published articles in the ASHRAE Journal and Building and Environment, and has taught a variety of industrial and academic courses. He received the National Science Foundation Fellowship-Integrated Graduate Education and Research Training Fellowship. He is a contributing author of the new ASHRAE Green Guide.
